We now provide a new browsing system which is available without registration. This utility can help you to check the availability of taxa and the availability of traits for certain taxa. Furthermore, images sorted by taxa or content can be viewed without registration.

Major update.


In the course of taxonomic restructuring, we changed the belonging of some taxa and, additionally, added new taxa and data. Furthermore, we did minor corrections of some trait values.


Now available are 5 424 taxa, 33 items and 3 185 images of 2 476 taxa.
