SEEDS PER DIASPORE is an ordinal scaled trait that describes the number of seeds per diaspore.

 

 

Trait description

 

SEEDS PER DIASPORE is an ordinal scaled trait that describes how many seeds are enclosed in one diaspore. Based on images and drawings of plants and their diaspores in combination with an intensive literature and web research we estimated the number of seeds per diaspore. All assessments were made in classes with log-scaled boundaries according to Tab. 1.
